Chicken Ragu – gà ragu- for dinner
I felt like having a comforting dinner tonight.
There’s nothing as great as home cooking. I remember when I was 12 and had to babysit my little brothers. I was told to feed them some left over ragu for lunch as my parents were at work. It was left on the stove top. So I did as I was told. Who knew a nightmare would be the outcome of this simple lunch for them.
My little brothers got food poisoning as the ragu became spoiled sitting on the stove top due to the Texas heat.
I got scolded as though it were my fault! I didn’t know it was spoiled.
Sigh…the injustice of childhood haunts me still.
